It was a wonderful sunny afternoon in HARLEM!  The remarkable chef, MS. MELBA WILSON,  presided over her intimate establishment, serving a choice of SALMON or FRIED CHICKEN, over baked maccaroni with collard greens.   THE WEDNESDAY WOMEN who LUNCH (WWL), were here to MEET, GREET & DISH !   These chic ladies welcomed a special guest who explained her inspired purpose in life.... (more on that below):

MS. SABRINA LAMB,(above left) the guest of the afternoon, was inspired to create the WORLD OF MONEY.org, a NYC based 501(c)(3) non- profit organization whose mission is to empower youth with a solid financial foundation.  This institute is needed to break a generational cycle and change the way youth view money. The five tenants they emphasize are: LEARN, EARN, SAVE, INVEST AND DONATE.  Having these tools encourages youth to become family team players, maximizing their long-term financial well-being. FINANCIAL EDUCATION REDUCES POVERTY.  Let us start our youth on this positive journey.  This organization has frequently toured the White House in Washington, D.C.  In August 2013, eighty nine members traveled to mainland China and Hong Kong....  (that's on my bucket list)!   They will celebrate their 10th Anniversary in South Africa in 2015 and,.... they invited all of us to visit with them.

THE afternoon was fantastic.  To top it off, Ms. Melba served her exquisite SWEET POTATO PIE and RED VELVET CAKE!
